| Ian Rees (Wales) | This is an excellent compilation of articles written and published over the years in Precious Seed magazine, with special articles commissioned to fill any gaps. Like all compilations, there are both strong and weak contributions in the book, but overall this is a good systematic theology written by brethren and is an essential book for the library of young believers. |
| John Bennett (England) | Here is another book that crams so much into a relatively slim volume. Every library should have a book that provides material on the such essential doctrine as the person of God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit as well as those essential aspects of the believer’s blessedness in redemption, justification, reconciliation, etc. There is also a brief summary of ‘last things’ which gives a helpful overview. |
| Ken Totton (England) | Compiled form contributions to Precious Seed and specially commissioned articles, this unpretentious little volume comprises a wealth of reliable material on fundamental doctrines as the person of God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit. It also covers the believer’s blessedness in redemption, justification, reconciliation, etc. There is also a brief summary of ‘last things’ which gives a helpful overview. |
| Richard Catchpole (England) | This book is sub-titled ‘Things most surely believed amongst us’ and as it suggests this develops teaching on a great variety of fundamental truths covering doctrine concerning the Scriptures, God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, the fall, the believer’s blessedness and last things. The value of this book as with the preceding two is the way in which the reader is given a comprehensive over-view of each subject. |
| Richard Collings (Wales) | This book develops teaching on a variety of basic truths including the Scriptures, God, Christ, the Holy Spirit etc. Most of the contents had previously appeared as articles in the Precious Seed although several were specifically written for the book. It is well written, easy to read and deals with each subject sufficiently to give the reader a good grounding. |
